Responsibilities: -Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions - Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other snow removal tools - Ensure safe operation of snow plow equipment and adherence to all safety protocols - Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal requests - Report any equipment malfunctions on your truck or equipment - Maintain accurate records of work performed - This is a on call at a moment's notice whatever time the snow storm happens and we get plowable snow, we go out morning or night
Requirements: - You must have your own truck and plow with related insurance - Previous experience is preferred however will train - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required for snow removal tasks
Locations: - Primarily in Montville and Norwich, CT
Pay: - Hourly rate $55 per hour for plowing - Hourly rate $75 per hour for plowing and sanding with full size sander - Hours of operation will vary depending on the snow storm - You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year
This position is seasonal from November 1st to April 30th and will primarily be active during winter months when there is snowfall

Snow Removal for Sidewalks and Steps

Requirements: - You must have your own equipment; Snow blowers, shovels, spreaders, etc... - You must have your own transportation to get to the job sites - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required for snow removal tasks - Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time - Strong attention to detail
